June Fourth Elegies lYou realize they didn t mean If but Yes Also in Spanish the personal pronoun is freuently dropped but this book uses them almost all the time yo estoy instead of just estoy etc making the dialogue sound unnatural The book wasikely edited by spell check not an actual Spanish speaker One of the best books I ve bought for my Spanish two class It pushes them past beginner stage without being so advanced that they can t find the main ideas in each dialogue It introduces vocabulary needed for common events such as getting a flight or taking a taxi and Baby and Child Vegetarian Recipes last but noteast the time it takes to read is around five minutes which with another 5 minutes to dissect and discuss fits in really well to our class schedule Good and realistic dialogues interesting situations actually capture your curiosity Only challenge is that there are a ot of idiomatic expressions that you have to figure out there is no translation word by word I an finding this book useful although I find the short stories helpful But I would definitely recommend it I have been earning Spanish for several years and thought this book would help me with my conversational Spanish However I find the conversations much too complex and not always how people converse to each other especially when using a foreign Der Illusionist language The complexity makes it difficult to be able to remember the conversations when applying it to conversations in realife Also the translations are not always direct translations I gave up after reading one uarter of the book This book does fulfill a need foreveryday conversations but gave up after reading one uarter of the book This book does fulfill a need foreveryday conversations but is very difficult to make heads or tails out of Because The Punctuation Is Abysmal And Accent the punctuation is abysmal and accent seem to be placed rather randomly Many written accent marks were Enticing (PI Men to the Rescue left out when they are necessary S and si seem to be a total craps shoot This was probably dictated and no one bothered to proofread it before it was sent to the printers Many run on sentences Punctuation really needs to be cleaned up Also some of theanguage is rather stilted and does not Spring Comes to Sanctuary (Welcome to Sanctuary, lookike

This book has been an incredible way for me to Get Back Into The Practice Of Reading And Thinking In back into the practice of reading and thinking in Spanish in a variety of situations I highly recommend this and the other eually helpful anguage earning materials that are offered by Lingo Mastery Although they did contact me for a review of their products They had no idea what my review might be ike I do think very highly of their contributions to my foreign anguage bookcase and to the Kindle app on my phone Very good stuff Kind of upset that these aren t direct translations It gives the impression upset that these aren t direct translations It gives the impression the writer or translator was azy or sloppy For example using the word pertenece in one of the stories is translated on the corresponding english page as the owner However this Could Have Been A Crucial Learning Moment have been a crucial Never Tell learning moment readers toearn that pertenece is often used in Spanish as belongs to in a variety of contexts not owner which is due o It s an incomplete picture and definitely a Feminism is for Everybody let down The book is full of these fwiw Very disappointed There are so many mistakes missing accents typos and mistranslations that I haveost confidence in the book Fortunately my Spanish teacher has recommended an excellent book full of graded dialogues It s called Vamos Al Grano An introduction to advanced Spanish grammar and vocabulary by Mark Cholij With that book my confidence has been restored Having used the Russian conversational dialogues which has interesting conversations ranging in difficulty from A1 through A2 to B1 I am bitterly disappointed to find that the Spanish version Deterring Democracy largely follows the tourists syllabus It doen not give difficultyevels Comet in Moominland (The Moomins, like the Russian book There is no consistency in the series Seems to be written by someone without a strong handle on Spanish grammar OR conversational Spanish The accent iseft off of s yes freuently and si without an access means if changing the meaning of the sentence significantly especially since in this case they usually Hunters Heart left the comma out after the si too Makes you have to go back and reread the beginning of many sentences when. Is conversational Spanish turning aittle too tricky for you Do you have no idea on how to order a meal or book a room at a hotelIf your answer to any of the previous uestions was ‘Yes' then this book is for youIf there's even been something tougher than Menneskefluene (K2 learning the grammar rules of a newanguage it's finding the way to speak with other people in that tongue Any student knows this – we can try our best at practicing but you always want to avoid making embarrassing mistakes or not getting your message through correctly‘How do I get out of this situation' many students ask themselves to no avail but no answer is forthcomingUntil now.
